Boss RC-2 Opinions?

Considering getting one. Seems more suited to practicing, making rough demos, getting things down etc. But that would be fine for my amateur uses. Not in a band and it seems pretty nice for adding drums, other self-played instruments, etc.

Curious to hear any experiences or if I could do better at approximately that price point. Thanks - as always - for the input.

I used one for over a year in my band, then downsized my board and duties (operating loops).
It's a heck of a pedal and worth EVERY penny! 16 minutes of looping, great for quick phrases, easy to turn on and off, great for saving riffs for playing later, layers well, the list goes on.
One pops up on here from time to time. It's worth a go!

The Akai Headrush is in a similar price range. In addition to looping functions it is also a digital delay/echo. But I can't comment on how it stacks up to the RC-2.

I've considered picking an RC-2 up because it seems to have the easiest learning curve of any looper and is the smallest investment; which is appealing for a beginner.
