Boss RC-20XL - Drum beats???

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys. I just recently bought this pedal. However, been wondering since I cant get the same drumbeats as the little brother RC-2. All I got is just that funny cheesy metronome thing with different kit.

Is this normal? The looping is great, but the drum beats are turning me down badly!

Apparently the RC-2 has fancier rhythms than the RC-20xl. I never really used the metronome function when I had the RC-20xl.

RC-2 + external tap-tempo/stop switch = RC-20 killer by a long shot!

The RC-2 has drum patterns. The RC-20XL has click tracks.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the RC-2 has the ability to reverse phrases. I use that feature heaps on the RC20XL.

Send a message via AIM to Swimming Bird
Yeah and you can just load your own drum beats onto the RC-20xl via the aux input.
