BOSS RC20XL power requirements

Hey gang,

The Boss website states:

Power Supply DC 9V: Dry battery (R6/LR6 (AA) type) x 6, AC Adaptor (PSA-series)

Current Draw 120 mA (9 V max.)

Am I correct in thinking that I can safely use a 9v tap from my DC Brick or Godlyke PowerAll to power the RC20XL?

Dunno, but I've accidently powered mine w/a Danelectro no-hum wall-wart & it worked fine. Not sure of the specs on the Dan-O; I'll dig it out later & post it here.
