Question Boss RV-3: what mod to do?

The Boss RV-3.....awesome little digital delay/reverb unit from Boss with loads of options. Nice digital delay up to 2000 msec, 4 reverbs and you can do delay and reverb. Getting one in about a week Andover it already as I've used my guitarists from time to time and really have dug it. Love to get stuff and then either mod it myself or get it modded (I believe if a pedal has a potential then why not release it to suit your needs?). With that said I have found 3 mods that are available:

1) Analogman Hi-Cut Mod: this is a 3 way switch that makes the repeats more dark as they repeat. Has 3 different options with the last one being considerably darker than the original digi repeats.

2) JHS Second Option Mod: this mod adds a switch on top of the foot-switch and allows you to have two settings. (Mode only as repeats and feedback are the same. Places a small trimpot in the battery compartment that is essentially "another mode option". The normal foot-switch is stock, the added one is the second option.

3) JHS re-house with second option mod and converted to true bypass: this is the holy smoke option and I'm leaning more towards this one...BUT of course it's the pricier of the 3...

Does anyone have a RV-3 with either mod and could comment on it?

Also I like the option one as you can have two tones on the fly BUT...
Like the idea of three different tones each more dark than the next....

Ok after listening to the hi-cut mod and thinking about 2 settings I'm going with the hi-cut mod...fun times ahead!
