for all Boss SYB-3 owners - hows the auto-wah on settings 9 & 10
i really like the auto-wah sounds on my Boss ME-20b, i prefer it
to my Maxon AF-9 infact, its not so aggressive, is the SYB-3s auto wah's aything like the ME-20bs or even the ME-50bs?

It's ok but nothing to rave about.
If you like the one in the ME-20B, an AW-3 would be a better choice.

I really like it. I use it mainly to add a bit of funky groove to the sound. Nothing over the top or crazy. I use about 3 different settings depending on the set. At band practice I like to kick it on heavy and do Sienfield bass licks. I have done it at a few shows when the guitarist is tuning and get a good response from the crowd. Keeps them occupied.
Hope this helps.

well, there are 2 mode, one is like a filter and the other is an auto wah.
i like the filter, it sounds great , just like the boss multi-effects, plus you can mix in the original bass signal so you still have some bottom in there.
i retiring the maxon AF-9, sounds great but the volume spike was getting on my nerves.
