i know a bout auto and T wah... they are noticeably quieter than normal filters... although they sound good the issue with the vol drop is serious... even more than with loss of bottom!!!
my solution for the T wah was to put it in a buffered mixer pedal!!!

AF9 is the best filter out there... i have two of them on ibanez one maxon...

The FT2 is the Dynamic Filter. The AF-9 is a Maxon pedal (another very good filter to think about).

Well that's very un-BOSS like.
I would expect, given their track record, it would be called the DF-2 or something like that.

i tried boss auto wah, digitech bsw, eh q-tron+ xo, eh bassballs, bottom feeder. all of them have been bought and sold. i was not happy. i got the AF-9 about 5 months now, and i haven't thought of any envelope filter again. no more GAS. well, just for envelope filter. for now.
