Alright here is he deal I'm putting together my first pedal board and to me a TUNER is a most. Therefore i'm seeking help from u the wise to guide me thru this journey and let me know what u recommend. If u know of any other tuners that will b better than these ones let me know... |

Also, the pitchblack (and TC Polytune, for that matter) don't have a second output, and that's a big minus for me. |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Pittsburgh, PA | | | i have used a tu-2 and pitchblack extensively before switching to a st-200. if it must be between the tu-2 and pitchblack i felt the pitchblack grabbed the notes slightly quicker but agree with rccollins that as of late the buffers in boss pedals are pretty good. so....if you plan on putting together a pedalboard with decent amount of true bypass pedals, use a passive bass, etc, get the boss for the buffer. if you use an active bass, or plan on having another buffered pedal on your board already, i'd go with the pitchblack as it performs slightly better imho. |
