GAS is a horrible thing. I am developing an addiction to envelope filters. I have three at the moment, and have definite plans to buy another two. Except I'm sure that as soon as I am up to five, there will be more that I have to buy.

I find myself listening to envelope filter soundclips and not really liking the sound of it - the Tonefactor Red 442 (or Boomstick Bottom Feeder) is a prime example of this. I listen to some clips, and didn't really like it. Except that I still wanted one!

I also find myself wanting to buy pedals that I already own...

Oh, I have one of those too. I have a lot of trouble dialing in the sounds I like--it's either too subtle or too modulated and dissonant. Can you advise?

Congrats with buying your first effect! It's always inspiring when playing with new gear! Now lies the path of more effects, my friend!
