so- if the unit works- maybe check the polarity of the center pin on the plug. not many variables to exhaust.

What sort of daisy chain are you using, and how is it connected? And what other pedals are in the chain?

just went through every possible reason why it couldn't work but it still doesn't work. so i basically bought a power supply to only power 1 effect. woo. i am smart.

i have a big muff and a 00funk. but i just want to see if the daisy chain works because i don't have the right plug for the muff.

It's going to be really tough to help you because there isn't much information in your post. What have you done (more specifically than everything) to try and make it work with the Muff? Which Muff is it? Will it work with the Muff by it's lonesome and not connected to the 00Funk? Are there more pedals than just those two? Do you have to use two different types of connectors to plug into the units?

It's possible that your daisy chain cable is incompatible w/ either your power supply or your pedal. There are so many variables, and you haven't hardly given us information about your problem.

If they are both 9v pedals and that PS does provide 9v at 1 amp, they should both work individually and possibly together, depending on how they are set up.

So wait, from what you're saying you can't even plug the daisy chain into the big muff? Did the power supply come with a plug that fits the muff? Have you tried plugging the power supply directly into the muff without the daisy chain?

Sounds to me like the plug you have chosen to attach to the power supply is incompatible with the daisy chain.

And, if you HAVE plugged the big muff in, you may be trying to power pedals of opposite polarity.

So, try finding the right plug for the big muff and power it DIRECTLY from the power supply.

Man, sometimes piecing this together is like a cross between a word search puzzle and a forensic investigation!
