BOW AND COWER IN TERROR BEFORE MY NOISE BOARD

Sign in to disble this ad
WHAT'S THAT? THUNDERSCREECH SOLD HIS BASS AMP AND BOUGHT A BUNCH OF PEDALS?? WHO DOES THA--ZOMG IS THAT A KAOSSILATOR? WHY I DO BELIEVE IT IS...

Oh yes, I did.

It will get more terrifying as time progresses and I am able to build a pedal board utilizing non-Euclidean geometry.

EVERYTHING

But, really, it's fairly simple:

The Kaozzilator outputs line-level stereo, so I split that an run it Side A: Bass Big Muff, Bass Multichorus and Side B: Micro Pog, Tech 21 XXL B and boss Ch-1 super chorus, and that runs into my DD-7 and then into my mixer.

Circuit bending a rancid old keyboard and an Atari Punk Console are in the works. Funny you should mention tape, because the Bheringer mixer had an eye-rapingly bright blue LED. since I did not enjoy having those lumens of high-frequency light being shoved down my retinas, I obscured it with some black electrical tape.

ditto with this. A custom-made, stereo, passive mixer will also supply a feedback loop for the second (and still-in-the-works) DD-7 that will go at the front of the chain for pre-delay.

Also, I moved the pedals around, so now the both chorus pedals take the dry outs from the Muff and MicroPOG and send them into the second mixer input.

Oh, and my plans include:
  • Digitech Whammy
  • a Big Muff to hack
  • another Big Muff, to hack again
  • 2 DD-3 Delay pedals
  • POG 2

I only got 400 dollars for the bass amp, and the other 150 are coming in installments. I had to get the important things first.

Plus, everything needs more fuzz. it's like a law of the universe or something.

I plugged my headphones in the headphone jack on my mixer and made noise for several hours tonight. Sounds great.

based on those two little computer monitor speakers in the back, I'd say postpone bowing down and cowering until we see at least 1,000 watts into 8x10 plus 2x15.

Although you are off to a nice start, your set up does not quite warrant the title of the thread. The epic title is a tad bigger than the current britches you are wearing.

Yes, well...

I only had 400 dollars. I HAD TO DO SOMETHING.

okay just kidding. This is a start yes, and it will get more terrifying, and the joke about non-euclidean geometry went over your heads I'm sure, because the only person who would've picked up on that is not here.

This one's for you, you crazy west-coast Canadian, wherever you are....
