| Well, you need to find a way of working out definitively if it is in fact faulty. No point trying to fix something that might not be broken, eh?!
Then, to properly troubleshoot to component level you'll need a multimeter and some basic tools. To actually fix it if it is broken you'll need a soldering iron. If you've got all of that available to you then we can help you through.
