Broken Switch?

Whenever I turn my pedal board on, my DOD FX25 always turns itself on. I can cope with it, but it's a bit annoying. They aren't always like this are they?

Anytime you turn it off and turn it back on it's normal IIRC for the DODs. My older Boss pedals (OC-2, FZ-2, and BF-2 ) do this but strangely the DD-7 doesnt...

IIRC= If I recall correctly

DOD's don't use a hard switch to turn them on or off, they use electronics to go into bypass. Since the electronics don't have any memory or digital controls to save their previous setting when power is removed, they default to 'engaged' when powered is reapplied.
