Brown Dog Gated Bass Fuzz and the Agent 00Funk Mark II Envelope Filter

"Australian-based CHUNK SYSTEMS throws its hat in the ring with two cool new pedals: the Brown Dog Gated Bass Fuzz and the Agent 00Funk Mark II Envelope Filter. In addition to working independently of one another, the pedals connect together in ways that give you greater flexibility and synth-like clarity."

IMHO, the Agent00Funk was the nicer of the two and sounds real nice. The Fuzz doesn't seem like anything all that special. That said, they really sound great together in the demo. But, at a list of $250 each they are expensive. The Soundblox Mutliwave Distortion may very well be a more economical all-in-one solution for some.

I can't tell, but it seems by your post that you think these are new?

Anyway, These have been around for quite sometime, both are fairly well thought of. The brown dog is one of my favorite fuzzes. I don't really think the combo is that relevant of a comparison to the SA box though, there is some crossing of purposes there but each is really it's own thing.

I've got both and their both awesome pedals, though I wouldn't pay $250 for them. I guess you could compare them to the SA but these two pedal have a much more synthlike sound to them. I'll admit that the fuzz is a little limited tonally but it works for me.
