Buddha Phatbass current/previous owner's?

Sounds like it's time to change the tubes in my Phatbass. What tubes are people running in these and why?

I don't know anyone thats using the Phatbass...but I would contact Doug at Doug's Tubes and run it by him. Tell him you are using the Phatbass, and what sound you are after. He's a cool guy and should help you out...

I really like it. The bass and treble controls really help for tone shaping. The distortion goes from slightly gritty to complete distortion. I think it's about the hugest low-end frequency distortion tone I've herd. I was in a band that played drop d stuff and sometimes during build ups or spacey parts I'd turn it on, pluck and it would just swell into a huge thick sound with endless sustain.

The reason i'm asking is I have an EHX English Muff'n but i'm getting rid of it so I need a replacement in the future sometime
