Anyone know how to get a decent bass amp tone from a sub $50 pedal or plugin? Looking to record some demos on the cheap

Behringer bdi21- there is a thread that compares it with the sansamp bddi- had a blind test comparing the 2- and some people preferred the bdi21. for the money you can not go wrong
