buffer pedal and active bass?

Anybody know if using a buffer in my effects loop will improve my signal? I get a noticable volume and bass loss When going through my effects loop, which is a bit annoying-) .. As I use an active bass (modulus) would a dedicated buffer pedal help?

I do go through a few effects, but just looking to make that small improvement to my sound. Cheers

Helped my signal. I play through an ESP ltd with EMG HZ 40's and a B64 pre.
