Last night I was in search mode trying to learn a little bit about DIY envelope filters. On the General Guitar Gadgets site they have a circuit board and instructions to build what they call the "Neutron Filter". This is supposed to be similar design-wise to the Mu-TronIII. Cost of parts and components appear to be well under a third of the cost of buying the real thing. I've designed and built guitars, speaker cabs, all sorts of stuff before. In fact I prefer building to buying.. Anyhow, I'm just curious to see if anyone on this forum ever built one of these, and how did it work.. |
