Building Ambient board - here are my building blocks

Sign in to disble this ad
I have searched all threads with ambient in the titles or in them and have spent considerable time reading them. From what I have read I want to pursue an ambient pedal board. I have the following:

2 - Digitech Digidelays
1 - DOD FX72 Bass Stereo Flanger
1 - Zvex Mastotron
1 - Digitech Bas Multi-Chorus
1 - Digitech Bass Synth Wah
1 - Boss PS-5 super shifter with optical expression pedal
1 - Tremulus Lune tremolo
1 - zCat Hold/Delay pedal
1 - Boss LS-2
1 - Boss PH-3 Phase Shifter
1 - Boss RC-2 loop station
1 - Boss RV-5 Reverb
1 - Boss DD-7 delay

1 - offboard Ernie Ball volume pedal

The board has space for 13 of the above 14.
I do not want to trade, buy, sell a kidney for different pedals; those listed are my building blocks, let's stick to those

I like the long sweeps, the swells, the noises of ambient that I have heard.

What would you use and how? What LS-2 loop(s) would you create? Who do listen to in the ambient genre?

My current (ever changing) order is:

bass -> DD-7 -> Mastotron -> RC-2 -> PH-3 -> LS-2 loop A: Digidelay -> Bass Stereo Flanger -> Digidelay - loop B: Multi-Chorus -> BSW -> LS-2 output into zCat Hold/Delay -> tremulus lune -> PS-5 with expression -> amp

Sorry for the disjointed presentation, thanks in advance for any input.
