I've got the replacements directly from EBS themselves - they're quite helpfull. The last switch they gave me was different to the original so they provided a schematic for the wiring too. I haven't had a problem with the new switch and it's been in there for well over a year now so I think they must have changed over from the crappy cheap ones they originally used.
Awesome pedal though - when it works! |

So if it's a known problem and it's always something like low quality switches, wouldn't it be possible to just replace that from the get-go?

Otherwise, the wah is built like a tank. I hope the new switch is better quality.

| | | | Write to EBS Same problem for me : 2 switches broke already. The first time, i sent the pedal back to the store (and they sent it to EBS in order to repair it). This time, i cannot afford to wait and I plan to replace the switch, which looks not too complicated. I wrote to EBS this morning to ask them if they could advice me another brand/model of switch.
Here's their (quick!) answer:
Sorry to hear you have had problems with the pedal.
We actually changed the footswitch to another type way back now.
Please give me your address and I'll send you a new replacement type.
Cool |
