Huh. It looks dang sweet, but I've been pretty much completely turned off to dirt boxes that use a single 12AX7. I've tried maybe seven or eight, and the only one that sounded really good to me was actually not intended for distortion. OTOH the fact that this one runs at a proper high voltage may make all the difference. And, while not cheap, at least it's no Bass Bully. Toasted, buy it for me will you?

Naw, I hated the Varidrive (which is the one of those two that was intended for OD). It was that CAE V-Comp that I sold a couple years ago. I put a Fat Boost in front of it and got some really sweet-sounding dirt.

That thing sounds pretty nice, however. I heard a fair bit of noise at the start of that clip. Man, if they can't clean it up for the ad what would it sound like at my house? Also, I always thought you could get a pretty sweet OD with just about any boost pedal in front of a Tweed Deluxe. And lastly, no bass clips, no sale. I'm getting sick of listening to guitar clips.

The Button and The Communist Pig are both distributed out of Memphis. That is really weird, I don't think either have a store front but I wonder if I could stop by and check them out?
