Buying 2nd hand pedal from USA if I live in Australia

Sign in to disble this ad
This may be the dumbest question ever but I am looking at buying an MXR M80 pedal from a gent in the States. I live in Australia. My issue is the pedal can obviously run on AC power, physically the plugs are different here than the states so I will need to buy a new power supply however the States to my knowledge run 110 volts, in Australia our outlets are 240 volts. Are the pedals designed specifically for the region they are sold within.
Thanks in advance from a dumbass!

You can get a one spot adapter which I know works universally: http://accessories.musiciansfriend.c...ter?sku=151686

[edit] or you could just run it through a transformer.. [/edit]
