Bwahaha -- your most fun pedal combos

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey all, I just stumbled upon an amazing pedal combo that has kept me entertained for several hours giggling in delight and foaming slightly at the mouth. Please share your happiest, most joyful combinations!

To start off, mine goes FX25 >> Whammy IV (+2 oct) >> MXR Blue Box (-2 oct + fuzz). It's chock full of glitchy 8-bit goodness.

I like to use my Zoom 607 or BFX-708 in front of the Boss RC-20XL.

Loopy goodness there.

GK2001RBP distortion channel > Moog Freqbox > Moog Phaser w/ Envelope Out from Freqbox controlling the sweep > Moog Lowpass Filter > Moog Delay

Pure synth bass.

It used to be Bass-Drive -> MXR flanger. Now it's MXR Blowtorch -> MXR Flanger. The Bass-Drive - flanger combo nails Gratitude by the Beastie Boys. The Blowtorch - flanger combo it a bit more choppy and growly. Both of those have a compressor before everything.

I like my Q-Tron and Psycho Flange combo a lot right now. Sounds like a semprini.
The BMS, plus an RT-20 Rotary Ensemble, sounds like a slice of lemon wrapped around a large gold brick.

I don't have many pedals, but DOD grunge->DOD bass chorus->ehx bassballs is kind of neat.

Just this past monday night, I got the Glitch Computer, going into BSW, then into the Polyphase, on square-wave LFO phaser mode. Awesome arpeggiated-synth madness.

I like to make noises!

Fuzz (Sovtek Muff) -> Wah (105Q) -> Delay (Digitech PDS 20/20)

The thing is, the delay can do crazy auto-pitch-shifting, and can get really awesome glitchiness while turning knobs...and it has a "sample + hold" feature that's also affected by the time/speed/shift knobs

Cool idea for a thread!

An octaver and a DS1 in a bypass looper always gives me a good time.

Was going to post about this myself! I have been running 2 original Mutron III's...The first with it's filter going down, the second going up...I've been in Bootsy Land all weekend!

Adding an octaver and a fuzz before them (I was using an OC-2 and MI Audio Neo Fuzz) it sounded like "Synth Bass mixed with Gollum from Lord of the Rings" according to a friend of mine!

I have been experimenting with using my Boss LS-2 to run my Moog filter and my Maxon AF9 in parallel. Very awesome, especially with the Maxon set to sweep down, while the Moog can only sweep up (without a negative control voltage)

Ok, I'll do some later with Multicomp (used as a boost to make the Digitech BSW go nuts) -> Digitech Bass Synth Wah -> Zoom B2 (for chorus and delay)...

8 string bass --> OC2 --> Prunes and Custard --> DD3

The OC2 has no idea how to track an 8-string, so you get a lot of wobbling between several octaves.... it sounds pretty cool to me.
