here in my hands: i'm really diggin'it
just looking forward to hear impressions of others owners round here..my only complaint about it is that it seems a little too "subtle" for my tastes.
am i a wrong?

maybe i need a little more tweaking time

I brought it down for someone to help me modify it for bass, and now I can get it to quack, and I like the sound I hear! |

I find it so weird that everyone here seems to say its a subtle filter, and I wish there was a way to tame mine down a lot. |

Here's a question for the DIY'ers out there: is there any sort of mod I can do or component value I can change to deaden the sensitivity on this thing a bit? No matter where the drive (sensitivity) knob is, this thing is opening all the way up, regardless of how hard I hit the note. I want more of a 'bwow" sound, rather than a Q-tron-like 'bwack' |

Done a little searching, and it appears if the pedal ain't what its quacked up to be, the BYOC forum has threads on modifications. Seeing that I'm one who prefers to build my gear whenever possible, I've seen enough to make plans to buy a kit.. |

| | Monster Mike | | | | | I can get mine (modded for bass) to trigger fine--I have it set for really nice control in that regard, but if I crank the input too high or really lay into the strings, it not only triggers, I get some nasty break up that I don't think is part of the intended sound.
Probably something gone wrong with my assembly. When I don't lay in too hard it does sound great though--not as thick as other filters, but still a great sound. |

but like yours, i do get the breakup sound if I dig in too hard. |

changed r13 to 1k to i think
might try swapping c3 and r9 around to see what it does i'm not sure it'd make it turn into a low pass though unfortunatly.
