Bypass/Loop Box - plans/kit?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hope this is the right section...

I've got some pedals that I'd rather not have in my signal chain full-time, so I was looking at bypass boxes and couldn't really find one to do what I wanted for sensible money.

I figure a couple of bypassable loops with volume pots on them should be an easy build even for a knows-nothing-about-electronics guy like me, but are there any plans for this sort of thing available online? I've seen a few distortion pedal designs around, but not just an unpowered (presumably?) switch box like this.

Idiot-proof advice much appreciated!

I've been playing around with the DIY Layout Creator from diystompboxes.

Can anyone tell me if this looks okay for a passive, non-LED, non-volume bypass pedal?

Check out www.beavisaudio.com , he's got some great stuff there and few drawings and plans for loopers and bypass boxes.
