can anyone post a soundclip of an OC2?...help and thanks

a soundclip of OC2 played with a 4string passive bass, anyone?

...there's one for sale near me..i would like to know if i can use it for dubbish sound and also how does an OC2 sound on a 4 string, played aggressive fingerstyle. thanks!

Here's a clip of Paul Young's "Tear Your Playhouse Down". Pino Palladino popularized the Boss OC-2 back in the day.

He's playing active four-string fretless but this cut is a good example of the sound. He plays the part on the bass an octave higher than what you hear, and the OC-2 handles the low end, adding that synth tone.

thanks 20db pad. ..yup Pino and OC2 love his bass playing...hmm any more soundclip with a passive bass only not fullband setup? and is it true bypass? thnaks!

I play with an OC2. Great for dub reggae. It's a cool pedal.

..can you post any soundclip? ..good to hear it's great for dub tone. do you think it'll respond well to a passive bass? thanks

No Boss pedals are true bypass AFAIK.

It's just fine for passive bass - but like any octave pedal YMMV and how you setup your rig will have a profound effect on how it sounds and behaves.
