Can anyone recommend a good volume pedal?

I have finally decided to invest in some pedals I think will be useful. As well as the Boss TU-2 tuner, and the Boss GE-7 eq, I'm looking for a straightforward volume pedal. If anyone can recommend one, or recommend a place to buy the above pedals at a reasonably low price (I've only seen them online for £50 or more) I would be very grateful.

Ernie Ball and Morley both make good and popular volume pedals, but I have a soft spot for Morley. And Morley is a bit cheaper - $79.99 for either of their volume pedals (Volume Plus, Little Alligator) in the USA compared to $99.99 for the Ernie Ball VP-Junior. So... Morley should consequently be cheaper in the UK, I'd hope.

my vote goes for the Boss FV500H - can be found on Thomann.de for not a lot!

I'd vote for the EB VPJR. It's built rock solid, is easy to fix later on down the road (the pot has a solder-less harness, and the kevlar string is a breeze to replace), and it works and sounds great! I would have to disagree about the price though, as I got mine for $60 from Guitar Center. You really just need to look for the sales.

I'm also looking at investing in a volume pedal, can anyone tell me the differance between the 25k and 250k Ernie Ball Jr. pedals?

Also I'd go for the Korg DT-10 tuner, i just got mine and from my experience, its soooo much better than my old boss tuner. But thats just my opinion.

The former (25K) is for active instruments, the latter (250K) for passive instruments.

I would just say DON'T go for the Alesis F2 volume/expression the gearing inside is cheap plastic and slips very easily.

so I'm saving up for an EB
