Can an Aural Xciter work with a multi-effect processor?

I'm looking at getting an Aphex Aural Xciter/Big Bottom pedal to give my tone that extra little bump, but I'm not sure if I can incorporate it into my current setup. I'm running pretty much consistently into a Boss GT6-B multi-effects processor and then into an Ampeg SVT-3 head. All of my patches have at least a little bit of compression at the start of the chain in the Boss, so can I still get benefit from the new pedal? I'm afraid that if I stick it before the Boss, the compressor will nullify it and if I put it after, it'll wind up messing with all the other effects I've got going, like overdrives, chorus, delay, and phasers. My best guess is to maybe move the compressor in the Boss chain down to the end. Anybody got any input or suggestions?

Nullify? It won't nullify anything. It'll just add on its effect to what you already have going. It'll be more noticeable towards the end of the chain, of course, but you aren't canceling anything out either way - only changing the resulting sound.

Whether it's a benefit to you or not is something you'll have to try out for yourself, unfortunately.
