Can using the effects send/return from a bass amp or a preamp damage some floor pedals?
Like, can the signal bee too hot?

More specifically,
the effects send/return on:
-Gallien-Krueger 700RB II, amp
-EBS MicroBass II, preamp

Into pedals such as:
EHX Bassballs
EHS POG
MXR pedals
Boss pedals

Should be fine as long as you don't plug it into the speaker outputs! You might get some clipping distortion if the signal is too hot but it shouldn't* damage anything.

* DISCLAIMER - I have no idea what I'm talking about really, my advice is merely suggestive and to be taken at your own risk

Generally speaking, running a line-level signal through a pedal meant for instrument level will not damage anything. As was already stated, you may get some clipping of the signal, but the signal is not hot enough to damage most circuits.
