Probably, it has alot of boost... I dont know what the output impedance is.

I wouldn't count on it - it's not a designated preamp so you can't EXPECT it but you can try.

Right, the boost is strong but the impedance is probably way off. Also it depends on the input sensitivity of the power amp

Sansamp? sound wise they complement each other incredibly well. the mid boost of the fulltone sets the BDDI on fire... ...well not literally but it does sound rather magnificent.

A DI will only be an improvement if it also has a line-level output. Some do, but most don't. I guess converting the signal to balanced is some improvement, but doesn't solve the signal level or impedance issues (generally speaking).
