can i bank up AND down???

Sign in to disble this ad
so i bought the boss fs-6, it has an A & B switch. they can be set to either latch or momentary latch. I was under the impression/assumption that i could use the a switch to bank down and the B switch to bank up.

however it seems as though the only way it switchs between banks is the B switch goes up and the A switch does nothing.

am i doing something wrong? whats the purpose of this foot controller otherwise. i havent found any use for both switchs

What is the fs-6 controlling? I'm going to assume it's your ME-50B.

You need a stereo cable to hook the A&B jack of the FS-6 to the ME-50B. The symptoms you describe are exactly what would happen if you used a mono cable instead.

I got FS-6 too, nice pedal.

Yes you have to get a stereo cable. remember the common guitar cable is mono.
