Can I do This? (105Q content)

I like my 105Q, but the fact that the 9-volt jack is on the side of the pedal bothers me.

From an engineering standpoint, I can see why it's there The board is closest to it, and it saves time and materials when producing them. . But for me, from a user standpoint, it's impractical and messes with the wire path on my board.

My question is: Can I drill and mount a 9-volt jack in the front of the wah and wire in parallel to the one on the side, or do i have to remove that one all together?

The new jack would go on the front where the 105Q is.

i own a colorsound tonebender, and it has no power adapter jack at all.... so what had to be done was drilling a hole in the front and connecting one of these to the 9volt battery jack....

this way you can also use one or the other.... front(or where ever else you decide to put the hole) OR side

Yeah, the power jack is in the worst possible place on my 105Q. And guess what? It's in the same place on my Hematoma. And with those two pedals running into each other, that intersection is a nasty one cable wise.

One day the power cable got stuch under the heel of the treadle, keeping it on, and made me think my speaker had blown out or something. So I proceeded to take my amp apart (with my girlfriend looking on, one of those I-think-you-don't-know-what-you're-doing looks on her face), and then saw the cable wedged under the pedal. I felt kinda stupid. Plus, my current setup is not very good for wires. I'm thinking of getting some of those platic cable guides and screwing them to the board (it's a home-made board), or making something out of sheet metal strips and velcro. At leas the 1-Spot connector will make things a little easier.

Yes, I think you can. The battery snap and the DC input are usually run in parallel anyway. Adding another DC input won't make a difference.
