this is a long shot...I worked with an engineer a few years ago and tracked the bass through this awesome tube di box.. the sound was incredible! Anyway despite remembering to make a note of what it was at the time I now for the life of me can't remember.
It was a tube di box which had black metal casing and then all the writing and graphics were in yellow (not a sansamp)... it was quite big but not very high - kinda like a sansamp shape but bigger and it weighed quite a bit.
any ideas of what it might have been? |

Maybe it wasn´t a DI only, I mean maybe it was a Pre with built in DI

I can't phone the engineer, it was with Michael C Ross (Christina Aguilera etc..) and it was a studio in the states and i'm from the UK :P |
