Can someone help with a Bassballs electrical question.

I have a russian bassballs that I have a love hate relationship with. When I bought it it had no rings on the inputs, so I bought some metal ones at the hardware store, then I didn't like the sound of it. Learned about the dials inside of it. So when I finally got it set good, I put it back together and when tightening the metal nuts down the plastic post broke. So I want to repair the jack but it is kind of wierd. Can you someone tell me if I am correct with my assumptions.

Will they work for what?

Just desolder the old jacks and replace them with new jacks!

Uh yeah, you remove the old jack and put a new one in. Pretty straight forward.
