Some Wah or Auto Wah at the beginning. I know Brian has a HUGE pedal board so maybe an Auto Wah or Mu Tron with and expression pedal? The solo is a Wah with what sounds like some sort of Synth-y square wave.

But I feel like it's really just primarily Wah

Nice playing, thanks for that clip.

He's definitely using a manual wah.

Something like the Wilson Wah or Bass Crybaby would work.

There's a point where it sounds like he might be adding a touch of grit (Pork Loin, Xotic Bass Preamp, Barber LTD etc) to the wah sound but I think he's just digging in a bit harder to get that tone.

Either way, the main answer is bass wah and good chops.
