Can the VTBass get this tone? (Big Sugar)

I figure it can get the reggaeish tone from songs like Turn The Lights On: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdLXW...eature=related

What I want to know is if it can get a tone like that of Diggin' A Hole all on its own: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9FqC...eature=related

I believe thats all Garry Lowe at the beginning of Diggin'....
