Not exactly. Assuming you're talking about using the A+B Mix mode, then it won't quite work that way. The thing is, whatever is going into the input will then be fed into loops A and B. You can't mix what is in the input with the two loops. So its not like input + A + B all mixed together. It is more like input into A mixed with input into B.

Yea, you can swap between three sounds: loopA-LoopB-bypass(clean), but you can't blend all three, only A+B or A+clean

You could use a second LS-2 to do that, tho... Feed mixed A+B from the first LS-2 into loopA of the second LS-2 and leave its loopB open, so you could blend it with the clean sound. Not very practical, but should work.

When you mix A & B, you are mixing 2 parallel runs in series, with your other effects, before or after LS-2. Is that what its doing ?

No, you're not mixing A & B with your other pedals. You're running whatever is before the LS-2 into BOTH A & B, then mixing those two signals together.

ah, true. I say "clean", but that's only if the LS-2 is first in the chain (which is where I place it, myself).
