You guys got any links to any?
After researching, I'll be purchasing the Tech 21 SansAmp VT Bass. Local stores don't have it, purchasing from the US will cost lots of $$$ (duties, shipping)
Thanks! I found a couple, but they either don't have the pedal or they're back ordered. |

But, www.clubbass.ca has the VT on their site, and were really easy to deal with when I ordered an amp and cab from them. Used fedex, although I don't know if they can canadapost things. |

| | | | Thanks Jucas, I checked ebay but theire prices are as high (if not higher) than purchasing straight off a US site.
I sent clubbass an email. waiting for their response. |

I buy online in states only if they ship with USPS , never had surprises with them.
I had horror stories of overcharged customs with either UPS or fedex.

Thanks! I found a couple, but they either don't have the pedal or they're back ordered. | Long & McQuade has it listed on their site for $170 Cdn. No idea how much the shipping will be though. http://www.long-mcquade.com/departments/40/21/0/0/

Granted, I have only to make a short trip across the bridge here in thre Sault ( Sault Michigan right across the way). The savings I have taken advantage of..WOW. On everything from a U.S. Spector to a drum kit for by son to strings etc. Here's an example of savings: I bought the Crown XTi 1000 power amp for $316 from an Ebay superstore after having looked at the prices on the Canadian stores discussed here. All of those had at least over $600 Canadian. I saved at least 1/2 . For me a minimum savings have been 1/3. I love supporting local but, sorry, those type of savings cannot be ignored.
My buddy (guitard) is looking at a special acoustic (forget the brand). He showed me the Musician's Friend price of $ 2100 U.S. vs. the price he was qhoted as "cheapest" available through Canadian distributors of $3000 Canadian. Again, sorry... People living close to the Canadian-U.S. border can take advantage as the warranty will be VALID (majot argument used by Canadian retailers) as the U.S. shipping address is the one used to honor the warranty.
THX for reading my rant

Marc | It's rediculous, how we get ripped off above the border. Montreal's not too far from the border, unfortunately I don't have family or friends there... Quote:

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Toronto Canada | | my local L+Mq has no problem changing an order. Especially if they can sell the other pedal anyways. Damn i have gotten them to order me stuff (well only happened 2x) took it home and "this is S$%T" and returned it... they have no questions asked 30day satisfaction guarantee on their stuff, but you may have to wait a bit for this. Its not on their system yet, i had them check yesterday....lol
But you will really like the VT...i love mine...and its killer loud!
