Both are very solid and well priced. I can guarantee you that you will hear great things from both. One is analog and one is digital. You really gotta figure out which sound you will want over the other if you're on the fence.

The Carbon Copy has some pros and cons:

Pros: Lovely warm sound, small size, true bypass, some of the best self oscillation I've ever heard which is great for creating crazy noises

Cons: Oscillates a little too easily so you have to be careful with the feedback knob, sounds really mushy when feeding in a distortion or fuzz tone, no stereo, no tap tempo, power jack in a stupid place (most pedals have it on the top or left side, this has it on the right, so it can get in the way)

If I was in the market for a new delay I would get the Digitech Hardwire DL-8. Loads of modes, analog like warmth, a 20 second looper, stereo, and true bypass.

I say DD-7. It's in the same price point as the CC, and it has a decently convincing analog emulation mode. It also has a looper, modulation, reverse delay, and normal style digital delay.
