Carl Martin Bass Chorus

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi guys,

Hows everyone doing?

Just came off tour, now have an extreme flu and am dying! But had a great time!

I've just secured endorsement deals with DR Strings and Carl Martin Pedals. Just been checking out Carl Martin's stuff and the only pedal for bass they have is a chorus unit. I already have the digitech multi chorus which i really like for it's warmth.

Does anyone have any experience with the Carl Martin Bass chorus? Debating on whether to try it out or not!

Cheers!

Jase

Congratulations! I don't have any experience with the Carl Martin chorus, but I'm also curious about it.

Cheers mate!

They look pretty impressive but can't seem to find any sound clips of them around!

It's not the only pedal they have for bass - they have a bass distortion pedal, too. And never limit yourself to "bass-specific" pedals - a lot of pedals (especially most modulation pedals) work great on both instruments, such as delay pedals, most chorus pedals, flanger pedals, etc.

In regards to that particular chorus... let me see if I can dig up any threads on it. I haven't tried it myself.

i had the chance to demo one of the chorus at a local shop that has quite a selection of boutique/high end pedals. i enjoyed the versatility of the unit but didn't purchase because i was more fond of the analog man which was in the same price range. i would recommend picking up the pedal just because you have the endorsement =). most of the carl martin stuff works well with bass besides the one that specifically made for bass. the lower end red repeat is an excellent and very simple unit if you are looking for a little echo. also, carl martin is about to release a chorus under the same line that will be very affordable so i would recommend trying them all out. carl martin makes excellent products, but i was never fond of how most of their stuff came with it own attached power supply.

CARL MARTIN BASS CHORUS
Carl Martin Bass chorus and usage of guitar chorus pedals with bass
Chorus, chorus everywhere, and yet the tone did stink...
Carl Martin Bass Chorus

Just a few threads on it that were pretty decent. Some go into more detail.
