I am having a blast playing with this pedal. It is hard to make it sound bad, but what are your favorite settings (esp. for slap)?
Thanks. |

Threshold-5, Comp-3, Resp-7, Gain-4.
The pedal does add some warmth, which seem to cover up just a tiny bit of the upper highs. Since I usually roll off the tone a quarter turn on my jazz anyway, when I use this pedal I leave the tone knob wide open, and it sounds 99% the same.

My new settings are, Thres: noon, Comp: slightly below noon, Resp: all the way clockwise, Gain: 11 o'clock (but you may give as much/low gain as you like)
I'm begining to fall in love with this box... BTW since i'm not after too much of highs, everythjing is heavenly good for me now..

I have not tried the Demeter or EBS pedal, but so far the Carl Martin is the best comp/limiter I've found for bass in a pedal. |

I went to the shop to get a Black Finger.. I'm a fan of tubes on stomp boxes (like EBS ValveDrive).. Anyways, they were out of BF stock. So I tried CM instead.. and that was it. i didn't need to search anymore.. Compression is up to ones taste i think.. Like i tried the DynaComp but it was not for me at all..
I had also tried the CM Bass Chorus there. Do you have any opinion on that??

My current fav Chorus in the Analog man with the deep switch. |
