Clips where??
Nic has said he'll never make anything for bassists. If it does work, it's merely coincidence.
Clips where??

Clips where?? | Oh yeah it's for guitar but works on Bass, also it was designed by Howard so bit of movement on the whole Nic not making things for Bassists.
We argue about that point so often he thinks bassists are more picky than guitarists.
Nic: Hey I made a great pedal for bass today.
Bassist: Does it have a mid control? Blend? Adjustable Cross Over? Input Buffer? Huh? Huh? Huh? What colour led does it have?
Nic:

I can has sound clips?
Also, I'm really amazed that C-Bred made something for bass other than the SFT (although it's really for guitarists from what I hear). |

I wasn't a fan of the SFT...the supposed tube-simulating grit sounded meh, to my ears

I figured as much after hearing the soundclips. Really a shame they won't ever produce some actual bass effects. It's what keeps me from purchasing anything from them as I have all of my guitar effects covered. |

Their boosts are great on bass.

their fat boost switch is killer on the chilli picasso and so is the serrano as well. hyperpak worked really well on bass too. |

The V8 was a cool fuzz and an awesome oscilator and the valcoder was a stunning trem, beautiful shimmer sound.
Personally I love my SFT it's my most used pedal but then I'm not trying to pretend I have a tube amp

It's like an awesome trippy 10 minute long video

never tried their v8 but the valcoder was indeed stunning. | I had all the mini's once except the Ottava but I did have the Pheaton they only made 5 of those and Nic kept one, was a really cool watery auto wah type phaser, has a slight issue with clock noise which is why it was never really produced just prototyped to 5 units.
Hyperpak was my main distortion for a long long time, till I decided I was a fuzz man.
