Just trying one of these out today. Plugged it in and recorded a few things with it.

A raunchy blues with the texture at minimum:

A familar fuzz bassline with maximum texture:

And with texture in the middle somewhere:

And of course I like to try fuzzes with my bass wah:

I'm using the Merkin Fuzz with an Alkaline battery, which gives it that raunchy tone. I'm very curious to try it with a carbon battery as well for a more vintage correct tone. Anyways check it out and let me know what you think!

The setting for the Beatles fuzz is texture at minimum, volume to taste.

I'm really glad I bought this pedal now, I mean I can hear some low end loss but not loads but it's a very very 60's sounding pedal.

I can't to get it and knock out some sir paul with 67 hofner

Come on people, this thing totally kills for that Beatles tone. But that's what I think, what do you think?

I dig it very much! As usual I'm afraid that it might get lost in mix though.

Yeah, that always depends on the mix. The reason I don't like clean blends as a way to "cut through" is, if the clean signal is going to cut through but the fuzz isn't, what it sounds like in the mix is some clean, and then just some indistinct noise added to a general wall of mush. Really hard to cut through a mix that's a wall of mush.
