Just saw a thread on TGP inquiring about future availability of the small form factor Catalinbread pedals and they are discontinued.
The rumor was confirmed within the thread by Catalinbread. Here's a link to the thread: http://www.thegearpage.net/board/sho...t=catalinbread
Irvinz......take care of those little pedals you bought from me....they may be on the verge of collectibles........DAMN!!

But otherwise I don't really care for those tiny boxes. It's cool as a novelty, but they are almost too small. Tough to step on and with a tendency to move when you do. I'd be afraid that I'd break the knobs.
Besides, look at something like the Dr. Scientist Tremolessence (still patiently waiting for mine) which is a "normal" sized pedal but with top mounted jacks. It basically ends up occupying the same space on a board as a CB mini.
And I think Catalinbread is right that they don't need the novelty anyway since they make really cool and interesting pedals.

Actually, I liked the design of those. Never played one though.

Its never off. |

Luckily I own a Valcoder and it's a great pedal. Would love to have the Hyperpak or V8 too.
Oh, well. Buying used is the way then... | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
