Got this on loan from a friend, just thought I'd throw a few clips out there. I'm using a Gibson SG Bass with neck mudbucker only. Here it is with the gain at 3:00:

Pretty good fuzz tone, not unlike the sounds I get from a cranked ampeg V2. Here it is with the gain around noon:

Could have boosted the bass more on these clips, but they're low volume clips so my amp/cab isn't even woken up. Give you an idea though. And here it is (if you can hear it over the acoustic noise of the guitar) off and then on, just to demonstrate how this pedal doesn't totally rape and mutilate your tone, like some other similar pedals. With about 2 seconds of dialing (and not hours like some other pedals seem to take) I can dial in a tone very similar to my clean tone, and true to the tone of my bass, but with a little extra goodness/creamyness. Drive set very low:

Will do a quick "low gain" clip if anyone is interested. Tell me what you think! I'm not big on dirt pedals anymore, but if you want the sound of a cranked v2/v4 and the real deal is not an option, this pedal would do in a pinch!

SoundClick artist: Psychedelic Bass Jams - page with MP3 music downloads here's a lower gain clip, gain around 9 o'clock. Very true to the grunty nature of my SG's mudbucker.

I've also got a Catalinbread Pareidolia on loan to me. I'll be using it for some recordings this weekend. In the meantime does anyone want any clips of that too?

I don't have speakers at work but I remember loving the tone of your 2061. Does this pedal compare to any of your Marshall clips?

No, it really does not. It's just a pedal, fuzzy and pedal-y. It can't possibly compare to the rawness and ballsiness of a distorted amp.

To call them tube-like is a little optimistic. I've posted demos of a lot of the dirt pedals I've owned. Take a search around and see for yourself! Try searching for threads on the effects forum with the word "soundclips" in the title.
