Catalinbread SFT vs. Darkglass B3K?

OK, anyone ever A/B the two of them? Results?

Quite different... I have both and they complement each other nicely!

The B3K sounds more modern and aggressive. The SFT sounds more vintage.

But then again, maybe you should wait for the new Darkglass overdrive pedal... It's coming soon...

Where do you have each on your board? And you using a VTBass as well?

I have them next to each other. I had a VT Bass V1, but I replaced it with the SFT. Smaller fotoprint and the sound did it more for me, but that's subjective...

Like apples and oranges. COmpletely different types of dirt. The B3K is a modern, cutting, sharp attack, biting modern sound. The SFT is a vintage "wooly attack" type of OD
