CE-3 as bass chorus

I'm using a Boss CE3 with my bass right now and I happen to think it sounds fantastic, but I haven't actually tried a dedicated bass chorus. What I'm wondering is am I really losing anything tone wise by using a CE3, or is there possibly something to gain from using an actual bass chorus?

i used to use the ce3. it was just fine on bass.
