Chad from Bass NW is starting an effects pedal website.

Sorry if this is a violation of the CUP (I don't think it is).

Just wanted to let you guys know that my friend Chad over at Bass NW is starting an online shop that specializes in bass effects. Chad is a great guy (I'm sure many of you have had good dealings with him) and this should be a cool new venture that will benefit you guys. It's supposed to be up and running in the next few weeks.

I wonder if the effects he sells will have a "really sleek fast feel"

So did I.

Is it worth mentioning that the font used makes it appear that the site will launch in April 2077?

Site is live now!
BassEFX, Your online source for Bass Pedals & Effects

I spoke with Chad in person about his online store idea, and he asked for ideas and feedback.

One thing He has done that I truly love is how he has included sound and video clips for each pedal wherever possible, so we can actually hera the stuff.

Chad's a great guy, and this is a good idea, hope he does well.

Sorry for the zombie thread resurrection here, but I just wanted to stop by and drop some props for Chad at bassefx.com. I ordered a Source Audio BEF Pro from bassefx last week and was treated to same day shipping, a personal email in which he complimented my pedalboard after seeing it here on TB, and an open invitation for feedback and ideas. Great guy to deal with and an awesome buying experience. I don't always buy pedals new, but when I do...it will be from bassefx.com for sure.

I'll bet every pedal he has is a "great sounding and playing pedal"

I ordered a B3K from him....at like the worst time...when the kool-aid pitcher had more lips on it than the most recent dead overdosed celebrity's ***....so it was pretty hard for him to know when he was getting the pedals in....he regularly sent me emails letting me know exactly what was going on. Best support I've gotten from a company. Kinda hard to beat.

I gotta say that Chad is a great guy. I bought a lot of gear at BassNW in the late 90's early 00's. Then I went back to the store in 2010 after not going there for probably 8 years, Chad was there and immediately came over to say hi, remembered my name and asked me how my Lakland was doing. Then he encouraged me to take down a Lull T-bass that I told him was pretty, even after I told him I could never afford it and I wasn't in the market for instruments anyways.

I hope he does well with this effects store, I feel bad but I look to buy new pedals out of state to avoid our sales tax. If you don't live in WA state then please make up for my cheapness by giving BassEFX a shot!

I just bought a B3K from chad a little over a month ago and it couldn't have been a better experience. I was in contact with both him and Doug at Darkglass and they kept me well informed on where the pedal was and any other questions I had.

I also bought a bit of gear from BassNW a while back and I'm glad to see he's out on his own too. He was always the most helpful to me whenever I went in there.

I bought a Source audio BEF Pro and a MXR BFD and am in the process of buying an M-117R Flanger from Chad . Always get an e-mail from him with suggestions and answers to any questions. He helped me troubleshooe a ground issue in my Pedal board . He is a very good person to deal with and all of my pedals will be purchased from him in the Future.
