| My rule of thumb from lots of trial and error is as follows:
From bass, plug into pedals in this order:
Wah
Filters
Compressor
Overdrives
Modulation (chorus/phase/flange)
delay
Then out to amp
A tuner can go pretty much anywhere but keep in mind, running a non "true bypass" tuner such as the Boss in your chain will suck a little tone, even when the tuner is off.
The Sans Amp pedal would usually go last as it is also a d.i. pedal and if you run from the Sans Amp to the mixing board, you wont hear any effects placed after it. Having said that, I never liked how the Sans Amp colors not only my tone, but my other effects when in the signal chain. Unless you have it on all the time, I would think twice about weather you need it in your pedal chain or not.
