Changing the heads on patch leads help!

I'm it sure if this Is where it's supposed to be, so please move if necessary.

Anyway on my board I have a cable that's roughly 90cm that goes diagonally across my board that hooks up the bottom row with the top row of effects, pretty simple. Now I also have some spare 6" pancake head patch leads. My question is, is it possible to cut off the bulky heads on the 90cm cable and replace it with the heads from the pancake patch leads?

Thanks

Yes, but you need to get handy with a soldering iron first. It's probably not worth it for one patch lead. If you're going to start working on some projects more often in the near future then pick yourself up a soldering iron and some solder and watch some you tube tutorials.
