a cheap loop pedal to pair with RC50

right, heres the situation, this week at band practice i bust out my RC50 (which i have midi synced up to my eventide delay), and for kicks i plug my mic into it ( i do backing o some tracks).
our singer the declares he wants one, until i tell him the price.
is there another, cheaper, loop pedal that uses midi? he only really needs one overdub-able loop, and ill want to link it to my tap tempo, so it can be one of the one footswitch pedals like the RC-3 or something, but it needs midi.
can someone help me out here?

The Looperlative LP-2 is supposed to have MIDI sync and come in at $300, but it's taking forever for it to come out. Other than that, tracking down a used RC-50 may be your best bet.
